Free and Confidential Counselling for Young People
Eye to Eye Young People’s Counselling Service offers a free and confidential counselling to young people aged 10 to 25 years in schools and the community in Rhondda Cynon Taf.
There are occasions when it can be difficult to cope with a problem on your own. It is times like this that counselling may be able to help.
Here at Eye to Eye we offer free confidential counselling to young people, in schools, in the community and online.
Counselling is a journey with ups and downs, some days you may feel good and other days you may feel upset. This is ok, it’s normal to have these emotions when feelings are turned into words. Our counsellors will support you through your emotions and offer you a safe secure space to explore your problem.
Eye To Eye Counselling Services
We have developed a counselling service for Year 6 primary school children in RCT. This is a very limited service and our counsellors are only able to work with three very specific issues. These are bereavement, family illness and family breakdown.
Anyone can refer a child to our primary counselling service as long as both child and parent agree.
Our school based counselling service is open to all children attending comprehensive schools, pupil referral units, additional needs and EOTAS provision based in Rhondda Cynon Taf.
To make it easier for you at attend school counselling, we have a counsellor based at each school (with the exception of Llanhari Comprehensive).
Our community based counselling service is open to all children and young people between the ages of 11 and 25 years and living within Rhondda Cynon Taf.
We have counselling rooms within partner organisations based in Rhondda Cynon Taf so that we can offer you counselling at the community base venue closest to you.
Online counselling is our newest type of counselling. We have developed this because we understand that it is often very difficult for you to attend our face to face counselling sessions.
