Eye to Eye Counselling Celebrates Partnership at Prestigious Leathersellers Foundation Annual Dinner

Head of Services Alison Theaker represents Eye to Eye at exclusive charity celebration in London

Eye to Eye Counselling was honoured to be represented at the Annual Charities Dinner hosted by the Leathersellers Foundation at the historic Leathersellers Hall in London. Our Head of Services, Alison Theaker, attended this prestigious event celebrating the Foundation's partnerships with charities across the country.

The elegant evening, hosted by the Master and Wardens of the Leathersellers Company, brought together representatives from charities nationwide, all united by their commitment to improving lives through charitable work. The Foundation's dedication to supporting children and young people was evident throughout the evening, with inspiring stories of impact and collaboration.

Building Connections for Greater Impact

A particular highlight for Alison was reconnecting with Elise Stewart from Valleys Kids, a valued charity partner of Eye to Eye and fellow advocate for children and young people's mental health.

"It was wonderful to spend the evening with such passionate and committed individuals," said Alison Theaker. "Meeting with Leathersellers and representatives from charities across the country reinforced how much we can achieve when we work together towards common goals."

Recognition for ACEs Work

Eye to Eye Counselling's selection as a Foundation partner reflects our continued commitment to supporting children and young people affected by Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACEs). Our evidence-based approach to early therapeutic intervention has been recognized as crucial in helping young people in the South Wales Valleys building resilience and emotional wellbeing.

The generous grant from the Leathersellers Foundation will enable us to expand our reach, ensuring more children and young people in our communities receive the therapeutic intervention they need to live emotionally fulfilling lives.

A Shared Vision for Young People's Futures

The Foundation's commitment to improving the lives of children and young people aligns perfectly with Eye to Eye's mission. Through this partnership, we can strengthen our capacity to break cycles of trauma and provide young people with the tools they need to thrive.

"Being chosen by the Leathersellers Foundation is a tremendous honour," added Alison. "It validates our approach and, more importantly, means we can reach even more young people who need our support."

Looking Forward

This partnership represents more than funding – it's a recognition of the vital importance of the right interventions in children's mental health. As we move forward, Eye to Eye remains committed to delivering high-quality therapeutic services that make a real difference in young lives.

The connections made at the Annual Charities Dinner will continue to strengthen our work, creating opportunities for collaboration and shared learning that ultimately benefit the children, families and communities we serve.
